On 5th August 2026, the Department of Library organized a Library Orientation Programme for the students of Dharmendrasinhji Arts College. The primary objective of an academic library orientation is to assist users in realizing the full benefits of the library's vast resources, reading materials, and services. The session aimed to make students feel comfortable and welcomed, while simultaneously fostering trust, competency, and strong communication between the library staff and the student community. The orientation session was conducted by Librarian Ms. Hina P. Parmar, who delivered a detailed and informative presentation covering the following essential aspects Understanding the Library,Library Collections,Timing & Access, Rules & Regulations, E-Resources & Services. The event was graced by the presence of faculty members and administrative leadership Dr. S. R. Bhardwaj and Faculty Members from various academic departments.
