Objective of the Initiative To provide a clean and private space for female students To promote health, hygiene, and well-being To support women during long academic hours To encourage gender-sensitive infrastructure in the institution Details of the Inauguration The Women Refreshing Room was officially inaugurated on 07/12/2025 at [Dharmendrasinhji Arts College, Rajkot. The event was graced by the presence of the Principal Dr. Paresh Raval, CWDC coordinator Dr. Maheshwari R., faculty members Dr. Hansa Guajariya, Dr. Hitarthi Maam, Dr, Harshida Jagodadiya, Dr. Kiran Dodiya, Dr. Kiran Vanodariya, Dr. Trupti Gajera, Dr. Ketan Bunha and all Faculty members and students. The inauguration ceremony began with a welcome speech by Student from CWDC Committee. The CWDC team explained the purpose and facilities available in the room, emphasizing its importance for female students. Facilities Provided The Women Refreshing Room includes: Comfortable seating arrangements Clean drinking water Sanitary napkin vending machine Mirror and washbasin Resting space for students Proper lighting and ventilation Role of CWDC The CWDC played a key role in planning and executing this initiative.
