This report highlights the experience and skills developed while managing library work. Objectives To learn how to organize and manage library resources To develop research and documentation skills To improve efficiency in locating academic materials To understand classification and cataloguing systems Activities Undertaken During the library work, the following tasks were performed: Arranging books according to subject classification Maintaining records of issued and returned books Assisting in cataloguing and labeling of new books Helping students locate sociology-related materials Managing digital resources and e-library systems Skills Developed: Organizational and time management skills Basic knowledge of library classification systems Research and referencing skills Communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and record-keeping Managing library work provided valuable hands-on experience and contributed significantly to academic and personal development. This project given by Dr. Maheshwari R. and Dr. Nirav Thakker. It helped in understanding the importance of systematic organization and access to knowledge in the field of sociology.
