Event: Cleanliness Drive (College Ground Cleaning) As part of the Special Swachhata Campaign (SSCD) and in celebration of Swachh Bharat Diwas under the banner of "Swachhotsav", the NCC Cadets of Dharmendrasinhji Arts College, Rajkot actively participated in a cleanliness drive held on 25th September 2025. Under the guidance of the Principal, NCC Officer and 2 GUJ BN Rajkot, cadets assembled in the college premises and undertook the responsibility of cleaning the college ground. The activity began with a short briefing on the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and community service. Armed with brooms, dustpans, gloves, and garbage bags, the cadets enthusiastically cleaned the entire ground area, collecting plastic waste, dry leaves, paper, and other litter. The waste was later segregated and disposed of properly following eco-friendly practices. This initiative aimed not only to maintain cleanliness in the college environment but also to spread awareness among fellow students about the significance of ‘EK Din Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’. It also encouraged students to adopt cleanliness as a part of their daily lives. The cadets showed great discipline, dedication, and unity during the campaign, reflecting the core values of NCC – Unity and Discipline. Their efforts were appreciated by the college authorities and fellow students. The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to keep their surroundings clean and continue supporting the national mission of a Clean India.
