On 18 November, 2024a heartfelt farewell was held to honor Dr. Faruk Khan, the esteemed Head of the Sociology, as he bid adieu to his role after years of dedicated service. The event was attended by faculty members, staff, students, and several distinguished guests, all gathered to express their gratitude for his leadership, commitment, and contributions. The farewell ceremony began with an introduction by Dr. Jignesh Upadhay, a senior faculty member, who set the tone of the event by acknowledging Dr. Faruk Khan's invaluable role within the department and his lasting impact on the institution. Dr. Faruk Khan addressed the gathering with an emotional and inspiring speech. He reflected on his tenure as Head of Department, recounting significant milestones, challenges, and achievements. He expressed his deep appreciation for the hard work of the faculty, staff, and students, stating that the department’s success was a collective effort. He also shared his excitement for the future and his personal journey beyond the department. The event concluded with closing remarks by The Principal Dr. Paresh Raval, who wished Dr. Faruk Khan all the best in his future endeavors. The attendees were then invited to a light refreshment session, where conversations and reminiscing continued informally.
