On 09/08/2024, International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples- 2024 program was organized for the students of Sociology Department, Dharmendrasinghji Arts College-Rajkot. The aim of program was to gain the knowledge about Tribes of Gujarat, India. After the auspicious start of the program by a prayer, Dr. Nirav Thaker sir addressed the students with the Welcome Speech. Dr F. F. Khan, Dr Maheshwari Raviya and Dr Nirav Thaker welcomed the Principal Ma’am and then the Tribal students by giving a bouquet of flowers. The Principal conducted an active session with the students by discussing about the Tribal people and their contribution to World Literature. Dr. F. F. Khan introduced the International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples The students of Third and Fifth semester gave an informative speech about the tribal people of the world. They elaborately explained about the areas, customs, culture, and societies of these people. Dr. Maheshwari Raviya Ma’am performed the Vote of Thanks.
