Movie Watching is an important activity of the English Department. There are several dramas and novels in the syllabus of students which are also accessible in the virtual genre-movie. On 22/08/2022 Students of Sem 5 watched the movie A Doll’s House. All the students enjoyed the movie and discussed the difference between the drama and the movie.‘ A Doll's House ’ was written by Henrik Ibsen. Dr. Kalyani Raval discussed the drama and also asked students to read the original drama. The Gujarati version of the drama was also enjoyed by Sem 5 students which was translated by Dr. Blavanrai Jani. A Doll’s House is in Paper/CCE 16. The second movie ‘Pygmalion’ was shown just after the movie A Doll’s House. This drama is in sem 3 syllabus CCE/ Elective-5. It was shown on 23rd August 2022. Dr. Krishna Daiya explained the drama and students learnt the various aspects of Pygmalion.
