On 10/03/2025 and 10/03/2025 Semester -2 Students are shown the serial Malgudi Days, Episode 1 to 8 as these episodes are the digital version of the novel Swami and Friends written by R.K. Narayan. The whole purpose of showing the serial was to make students familiar with the minute details of the novel and the clear understanding of the pre-independence era of India. After watching the episodes students compared the novel and the TV Serial. They realised that most of the content and the dialogues are similar. All the students enjoyed this activity of the department. This event is organized in Room 5 under the guidance of English Department faculties - Dr. Kalyani Raval and Dr. Krishna Daiya.
