Gurupurnima means the birth day of Krishna Devayan Vyasji, the author of Mahabharata. He was a great scholar of Sanskrit. The world celebrates this auspicious day as Gurupurnima (Ashadha Poonam) in happiness of creating four Vedas. Gurupurnima is also called Vyasapurnima. Education was free in ancient times. At that time the Gurus were providing all kinds of education to the disciples in their ashrams. In the form of Guru Dakshina, his disciples were humbly trying to get rid of debt by donating their existing energy to Dakshina on this Vyasa Purnima. Apart from other fields, in the field of music and art, even today in Kali Yuga, Guru Shishya relationship is seen as at that time. Gurupurnima was celebrated by the students on this day (date 22/07/2024) in the Department of Geography in Dharmendrasinghji Arts College by the students. Dr. S. R. Bhardwaj, Prof. R. P.
