Science Day was celebrated today on February 28, 2024 in the Department of Geography, Dharmendrasinghji Arts College. HOD of Geography Department Dr. Shirish R. Bharadwaj organized the entire program under his guidance. In the program Professor J. J. Valani presented interesting information about how the program started and the significance of the first Nobel Prize in science in India. Then Professor R. P. Patel informed the students about the utility of science in people's life, its importance and how science is being used in our daily life today with various examples. In the next part of the program, the Chairman of the Department of Geography Dr. S.R. Bharadwaj gave the students a deep understanding of the scientific significance of the Nobel Prize in Science awarded to India. At the same time, he was informed about the interrelationship between science and geography. At the end of the program, Professor R. P. Patel expressed his gratitude to the students and the Chairman and Professors of Geography Department.
